Happy New Year from Texas

Unlike most Volkssport events, where you walk first and then eat and socialize, we eat and socialize then go walking. Following are pictures from our event.

The TVA held a drawing for two pairs of SAS shoes. The drawing and the winners are shown below.

As midnight neared, we started moving outside. As soon as midnight arrived they started passing out the walk instructions, and we were off.   Some homes still had their Christmas decorations turned on for us, and Main Street was well decorated too.
